Carolina Conditions seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Energy Solutions/Duct Cleaning Technician to join our HVAC Duct Department. This role is ideal for individuals with HVAC knowledge who are passionate about improving indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and overall system performance. You’ll be responsible for performing residential and commercial duct cleaning, system inspections, and assisting with energy efficiency upgrades.

What you will do:
- Perform air duct and vent cleaning for HVAC systems using specialized equipment and power tools
- Inspect HVAC systems for cleanliness, airflow, and energy efficiency opportunities
- Assist in identifying energy-saving solutions related to air flow, filtration, and insulation
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and power tools in a safe, effective manner
- Educate customers on the benefits of clean ducts and related services
- Complete service documentation and customer reports accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle
- Follow all safety protocols, including confined space procedures and use of PPE
What you will need (required):
- Must be 21 or older
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Must pass Motor Vehicle, Background Check and Drug Screen
- Minimum 1-2 years of HVAC experience or relevant fieldwork
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
What you will need (preferred):
- Knowledge of air flow dynamics, static pressure, and HVAC system layouts
- Experience with negative air machines, rotary brush systems, or vacuum equipment
- Basic understanding of building energy performance
